3Quid? Although a few gigs might be cool, low paid services opens up the risk of sellers delivering really low quality work – that’s what I found was the problem with gigs I ordered on Fiverr. It also pushes the more highly skilled freelancers away, in my opinion. That’s one of the reasons why I created my fixed price marketplace (see keyword luv).

However, I’m not saying it doesn’t have it’s place. For fun, quick and easy jobs it could be the solution.

I don’t agree with you that low quality freelancers are gathered only fiverr type marketplace. It is great opportunity who don’t want to bid and wait for long time to get a job. There are lot of high quality freelancers on fiverr.

Interesting find! It seems like a UK version of Fiverr.

I like using Flipajob – http://www.Flipajob.co.uk – as its for services between 5 and 100 quid. I’ve bought jobs at the lower end and top end and its all been good (for me). They have a strong payment and buyer guarantee which I like and their customer service has been spot on as well.
