Link building is indeed the best way to gain high rankings over google search result front page.

But there are many factors to consider while building this links pointing to your website. And these factors can affect your website rankings, it might be good or bad depending on how you build it.

Today, I am going to share to you some of these link building factors as I noticed it during my link building campaign over my newly built niche sites.

1. Building Speed.

Many have said that if you build backlinks to your website very fast, your website might get banned or sandbox by Google. As of my experience, YES it is quite true but as you keep doing it consistently, google will consider your website a great website to get rank for.

The only key is the consistency of your building speed. If you build 1-3 backlinks to new built website per day, then it’s okay as long as you build it with the same quantity for the next time.

P.S. If you noticed that your website was sandboxed or not appear on google search result, don’t worry about it just keep on building your links consistently because google will retrieve your blog after awhile.

2. IP Diversity.

Google love to see that your website have many backlinks but if Google will noticed that most of your inbound links came from the IP or from article directories only, it is not good enough to get your website rank well.

To get many different IP addresses, you should build backlinks from different webservers. Shall we say, you can build backlinks from the website on other countries.

3. Anchor Text.

Anchor text is also a vital factor to make your links more natural to google. You should also consider to keyword variations in your text links.

Say like for example, if your main keyword is “dog training”, you can varry this keyword into best dog training, dog training tips, dog training technique, etc. To get good keyword variations, you can refer your keyword using the keyword suggestions of Google Keyword Tool.

Another thing is that, you must also use other unrelated anchor text like click here, visit this link and others. This will look like more natural to google spiders. I know what you are thinking but it really works not only for me but also for people like. Actually, I learned this from them and it really is awkward to do because your hard written article will only contain unrelated anchor text on it. Believe me, the result of this sacrifice is really great.

4. Page Rank.

Backlinks from high page rank website is really great but if you are building your links from article directories for the purpose of having a high PR backlinks, you got a misconception of your strategy.

The fact is that, your website might get suspicious to Google because you are just building links from high PR sites and not from those low PR sites. I already did it for my own niche sites but as I noticed, my site to immediate sandbox after I checked my page result rank.

5. Trusted Sites.

Trusted sites and authority site is totally or slightly different because, trusted sites varries from its information resources. What I mean by this is that those websites where their information came from universities, laboratories and government sectors, their domain name would likely want to use and authority domain extension like .edu and .gov domain names. As I mentioned earlier, this websites are authority site yet they are also trusted website.

These websites extract sweet juices that will flow down to your niche site. This way google will categorize your website as an authority site also and because of that, you will gain good to better result rankings.

6. Competition.

Knowing your competition is also another vital factors upon building backlinks to your website. Because if you don’t study what your competition already have, your work might only go into waste or you might have a hard struggle to rank for the specific keyword you promote for your competition is the authority sites.

What I mean by this is that, don’t try to compete with authority websites since these websites are hard to beat. These authority sites are prioritized by google and they already trusted it for a long time if not for months. These websites like .gov, .edu or other authority sites are really hard to beat.

7. Patience.

There is no magic formula for search engine optimization. As many have already said, SEO works slowly and from that, you need to have patience in your sleeves.
