What the heck is Blogging for Profit?

Blogging for profit is a way or characteristic of a blogger that treats his/her blog as medium for online business. You can blog without making money on it, but most bloggers really want to monetized their blog and sometimes aim to make a living from it.

How Blogging for Profit works?

Blogging for profit is just like any other method of how to make money online, but as I noticed this make money online term, most bloggers do start blogging and share tips on how to make money online where they don’t even practice it on themselves.

Have you noticed it? I think you do. That’s why I twist the word or term to blogging for profit to make it more specific. Here are some ways on how to start an online business with blogging for profit. Actually there many ways but we will focus on the two below.

1. Blogging for Profit with Amazon.

Amazon is the biggest online store for physical products. People can sell or buy goods or valuable items from them. Of course, amazon set a program that would let you make money from promoting or advertising amazon products. They call it amazon associates.

2. Blogging for Profit with Clickbank.

While amazon is the biggest online store for physical products, then clickbank is the biggest online store for digital products. The services that clickbank offer to you, is just like what amazon have. They only differ the types of products they are selling.

How to start an online business?

Before start discussing this process, I would like to ask you something. What is business? (I mean offline business) According to wikipedia, A business (also called a company, enterprise or firm) is a legally recognized organization designed to provide goods and/or services to consumers and typically formed to earn profit that will increase the wealth of its owners and grow the business itself. Of course, the business owners also do invest money on it. So that is business.

Online business also have some similarities from offline businesses like investing  money on it, but the great advantage of online business is you can build it yourself and you only need a small amount of money for investment.

Blogging for Profit Requirements.

1. A BLOG.

A blog is our medium for promoting the products from the two largest online store the clickbank and amazon. Creating a blog is just very simple with wordpress using hostgator’s fantastico feature in less than 5 minutes. Why I choose wordpress? Because wordpress is a search engine friendly blogging software.

There are many competitions online who also promoted the same product as you. So all you need to do is to compete with them through dominating the first page or spot of google page results using wordpress blog.

2. A Product to promote.

Depending of what kind of product you want to promote,  you can choose products from the storage directories of clickbank and amazon. In choosing the product, you must also consider the popularity of the sales of the particular item.

3. Google Keyword Tool.

It is a tool provided by google to be used to do keyword research to analyze the keyword’s competition and search volume. The best keyword to choose are those having low competition and high quantity of monthly search volume. Use the image below as your keyword research reference.
