Blogging for Profit Series #2: Targeting Niche Market!
Hello guys, this is my second post talking about blogging for profit where we are now targeting the niche market to build our online business.
This thing seems very familiar to you, so I would like to make it straight forward to the main point. What we want to talk to about this moment is the popular money making method called Niche Marketing.
What is Niche Marketing?
For me, I define niche marketing as a way of targeting the popular things involve on that specific market. In blogging for profit, niche marketing is one of the best way to make good real money online and is also a very effective way to target your prospective audience or traffic.
How You Make Money from the Niche Market?
Maybe you don’t like to post an article to your blog regarding some topics that no one is searching or interested to read on it right? Now… targeting and sharing those information that people are looking is the best chance for us bloggers to make money online in many different ways. Some of these are the options below.
1. Selling Physical Products.
I would like to give you this as a realistic example. If a person search for an information about pig feeders because of some reasons, they might landed into your site that also shares about pig feeders.
That person might be your prospective client and because you posted a good information about the information that the person is looking for , you can encourage or introduce a physical product for that person to buy. Of course you have a commission in exchange to your effort.
2. Make Money Money from Adsense.
Let’s assume that you are now in the top spot of some targeted niche keywords and you gain much traffic to your site because of that. That also means that your adsense ads got more chances to be clicked by your visitors and make money from it.
3. Sell Electronic Products.
This method is I think almost the same as you sell physical products. This method also is one of the best way to do as an affiliate marketer.
Maybe that your readers want more information about the information you have shared in your blog, then this is your chance to introduce an ebook for them to use as an additional references.
How to target the Niche Market?
Targeting the niche market seems very crucial to do, because you need to do a lot of keyword research in order to find a good niche that has a high search volume with lower sites competition. Because of that, you have a great chances that your site would climb to the top of the first page of some search engine page results.
In searching a good keyword to promote, you can use google keyword tool and search that keyword having at least 1000+ search volume and less than 50,000 sites competition.

Niches are awesome especially if you can find complimentary niches.
I’m working on a few things now but I may as well chime in.
If you’re writing in a niche about freelance writing, you could then make a complimentary niche website or blog about marketing as a freelance writer. Cross link these blogs and now you can create a great backlinking system and your readers can find more information without overloading them with too many subjects on one niche.
The Google Keyword tool is awesome. Also, the free Wordtracker tool is very helpful as well!

Right now, I am currently working with some different niches. I also subscribed to Niche Profit Classroom 2.0 and I learned many great things about niche marketing from them.
Like, how to find those niche with low competition and high search volume. They also offer a ready made article package for your niche blogging business. They are really awesome.

I have never done any keyword research, but I know many people who have. I recently saw a video on DailyBlogtips which was really good and now after I saw this, I think its time that even I go ahead with this.

You should try it Vishal. Well… I am currently inside Niche Profit Classroom because someone hired as his employee to do the task of what NPC suggested.
I am glad that they got the all in one features there because they already have the package of the niche that you would like to cover like articles, videos and the likes.
They also got a good support and tutorials and if you became a pro member, you can get a free hosting and domain from them.
So… I suggest to all bloggers that really want to build a business, then I suggest that this is the real deal no fluff at all. And if I convinced you to join NPC, I will help you to have a tour on the classroom and also help you to anything you want to learn.

Before trying to make money online through an online business, one thing one cannot do without is keyword research and niche searching. Without niche searching and keyword research I don’t think you are going to have a smooth sail on the waters and your chances of succeeding online is going to be lower.

Thanks Shirley. You are really right. If we just hop into blogging without doing any research, then you are just wasting your time or leaving the money on the table if your goal is to make money by blogging.
