Case Study: 31 Days to Build A Better Blog

By Felix On June 2, 2010 Under Blogging

Pheew… It took me for awhile to make this post publish on my blog. Since this case study was a success, I will now share to you the results of my case study about Darren Rowse’s 31 Days to Build A Better Blog workbook which I purchased last 28th of April 2010.

I think I will share to you the result in a straight to the point because it might take a whole day reading this report.

Day 1.

I really felt excited on that day and I immediately open up and read the first daily blogging activities. Upon reading the book it really amazed me, because that was my first time that I heard about “Writing an Elevator Pitch for your Blog”. If you already knew it, that’s great.

Since that day, I really felt that this blogging information will work on me and to all bloggers out there, who also aimed to make their blog better.

Till the 23rd day of the blogging activities came and it really changed my blogging experiences in my whole blogging career.

Why until 23rd only?

I consider this day as the successful moment of my case study where my blog got the attention to one of the great entrepreneur on the internet, who he really likes my blog so badly that he was motivated to buy my blog even it is a blogspot blog.

I immediately think that I was lucky that it grabs someone’s attention and got the interest to buy it. Then later on, I noticed that I think it was the successful result of my case study of the 31 Days to Build A Better Blog workbook.

The person who purchased my Real Blogging Advice blog is the man behind InDigitalWorks named Goran. His InDigitalWorks company website was place on the first spot on google SERPS for the keyword term “resale right, resell rights, master resell rights and many others.

After the negotiation goes well, he decided to buy my blog. Here is the screenshot of his payment.

Real Blogging Advice was sold

Well, this book really turns me on and keeps me motivated to do blogging because of its daily guidance. Then that 23rd day of using the 31DBBB workbook  surely made my blog better than ever. Even I haven’t fully followed it till the last activity.

I need to start all over again.

Now that I already have my wordpress blog that I dreamed of, I can now fully do blogging activities without hesitations and also start and continue following the 31DBBB workbook activities till the very end of the blogging activities being shared.

Why I purchased the 31DBBB by the way?

I was motivated to buy that 31 Days to Build a Better Blog workbook because I want to explore what Darren did on his blog to make it better than the rest of the blog in the blogosphere.

“It is true that we can find free information on how to build our blog better, but it may took for you and me to make it effective because of the trials and errors we applied into it”. Perhaps this workbook is really different to all online information products.

But if you have this book as your foundation to follow, then you don’t need to do those trials and errors because what you need are already in there.

Do you need to have it too?

I am not making this post just to convinced you to purchase the product from my link because I am an affiliate of the product. But I am here because I just want to share to you what I’ve learned and what I earned since the time I have this workbook.

The truth is that most bloggers these days do blogging because they want to earn from it. In fact many new bloggers intend to share information about blogging tips and make money online even though they haven’t experience it on themselves before.

What are inside the 31DBBB workbook?

I hope that Darren won’t get mad at me when I am going to reveal some of the information inside the 31 Days to Build a Better Blog.

Day 20. Leave Comment on Others Blog.

Day 21. Breathe Life into an Old Post.

Day 22. Pay Special Attention to a Reader.

Day 23. Call your Readers to Action.

You noticed that I only revealed the 23 days of step by step tutorial. It’s because I only read those blogging activities for the required day, so that I won’t experience an information overload and won’t bother me to skip some steps ahead of the day to day course.

You also noticed that some of the usual tips like what we’ve found in some other blogging tips blogs. I also thought that, it was also the same information from like any other bloggers who also shared blogging tips but this book really have the unique difference.

Each blogging activities has a “today’s task” and some “notes” to be aware of. That’s what this workbook really great and unique.

What do you think?

If you think that the 31 Days to Build a Better Blog workbook can’t help you, then it’s not for you and continue wasting your time researching information that you can’t assure that it will suit and work on you.

My words.

I don’t think that some information products is not effective, but its only us that can’t adjust and follow the simple instructions being shared because of some required things and circumstances.

If I didn’t sell that blog, I don’t use wordpress now. I have no choice and I need to sacrifice my previous blog just to give life to this blog.

But don’t worry I won’t sell this blog anymore.

Thank you for the comment my friend. I hope you visit more often.
