How To Rank Higher in Google’s Latest Algorithm Updates!

Under Blogging, Featured Posts

We bloggers do believe that Content is King but there are still many bloggers and Internet Marketers argue that Content is not King but Marketing. At first, I do believe on this issue since the information of the fact seems reliable.

But we as noticed lately, Google made a very great work for giving more value and credit to those websites that has great content. This means that, those websites which are solely build for search engines to make money, are being pulled down.

Yes, Google has gone smarter and we love it as content producers – bloggers. Maybe many SEO specialist are not happy with this issue or maybe they will just make more great effort through writing or sharing great content on their website to get back their rankings again.

Content is Really the KING!

People use the internet for entertainment but mostly gathering information or searching for information. Google’s search engine is a piece of software that gathers and index WebPages to give the most relevant search queries to their search results.

We love Google because of their great service but because of those SEO tricks, the search results messed up because SEO practitioners lure their search engine algorithm by doing lots of backlinking efforts.

As users, we want the best content and Google knows that. That’s why they made this latest updates to give the credits to those websites that really shares good content. Now is our chance to climb to the top.

How to Rank Higher in Google SERPS?

1. Quality Content.

Before we start blogging, we used to do some research about how to write quality content. But we don’t know to make the quality. For instance, I will share to you some of the tips on how to create quality content for your blog.

  • Before anything else, you need to know the information behind the topic you want to share. That’s means; you need to do much thorough research and analysis before sharing such information.
  • Give more time while writing your post. Because we often used to hit the “publish” button of our post template without reviewing our works. Even though you know the all the facts about your topic, you still need to do some review for spelling and grammar errors.
  • Reading your article loudly. You may want to know what your readers feel if they read your writings. In our case, we want to deliver the information in an easy to read and in an easy to understand fashion.

2. Building Trust.

Creating quality and compelling content is the first step of building trust to your readers and also to search engines. Because of that, even without search engine people – searchers tend to keep on coming back into your website to look for new or other related information. Sometimes, your loyal readers will promote your website to their friends.

3. SEO.

Search Engine Optimization is still necessary because this will make your website friendlier to search engine like Google. You don’t need to trick search engine by building massive amount of backlinks into your website because search engine is not solely a robot, there were people behind it that are working to give the most relevant information to the internet user’s queries.

4. Social Media.

Social Media is still one of the best way drive traffic or readers to your website or blog. Not only that, search engine also refer social media links and analyze whether it is beneficial to their users.

Conclusion.

In the end, webmasters and copywriters are now starting to make quality yet compelling content for their website to grab Google’s attention.

So what are you waiting for? Start creating your quality content today and let’s dominate the search engine result pages.

For any reasons, I want to share a website that shares copywriting tips and advice. So here is the link – http://www.copyblogger.com/copywriting-101

One thing that I have done that has seem to help me with search engines is to make sure I use my keywords in the first and last sentence of all blogs or articles. Of course I also include it in every title. I’m very aware of overstuffing keywords and use my thesaurus to replace the keywords when usage would make it overstuff if I didn’t. By doing this I’ve had articles syndicated. I find that every time I read about content I find something new or I remind myself of a practice, for some dumb reason, that I stopped doing. It is always good to find article like yours.

your post and tips are all pretty good but in my experience, content is not the king, it depends how you do the SEO technique for your site…If the algorithm of Google was change then the strategies of the webmasters how to promote and be on the top of the search engines was change also.. I mean some webmasters are looking way on how to counter the new algorithm of Google..:-)

      Hi Eldie,

I’ve visited your profile and I thinking that you are Filipino, am I right? Anyway, about what you shared above, I also believed on that thing before. But the question is that, if you did a good SEO practices but your content sucks, do you think that Google and your readers will like it?

On the latest Google Algorithm Updates, they gave more priority to those websites that shares valuable content. Not if you did a good SEO and have a good content, people will keep on coming back into your website.

      Thanks for sharing your comment.

      Hi Armil,

I am glad that you found my blog post useful to you. Anyway, about the issue of “Content is NOT the King”, it was really an intriguing issue. I was once believe that content is not the King before and I concluded that it is the Marketing or the SEO.

But as time passes by, I realized that Content is Really the King. Why? Content becomes the king in various factors. Let me ask you this question. Why you promote your website to search engines? The answer would obviously, to get good amount of free traffic. Generally, we want visitors to our website.

Do you want to make your visitor come back again to your website? The answer would be YES! Do you want your visitors to be disappointed with content? Of course NOT! You see, we end up using the Content to be the most valuable in your website. Perhaps, you use content to build more backlinks to your website.

Therefore I conclude that SEO might not be the king nor the Marketing but they all are part of the royal family of Internet Marketing. To put it up simply, Content is the KING, Marketing is the Queen and SEO is the Prince or Princess.
