3 Lessons That I Learned Awhile Ago
By Felix On November 23, 2011 Under Random ThoughtsFew hours ago, it came to my attention that there is someone who is distributing a paid information product called 31 Days to Build a Better Blog under my name, email and this blog – the Blogging Access.
I was shocked and almost cried of what other people are saying about my whole personality.
Then I immediately contacted my wife if she was responsible for the distribution of this great information product by Darren Rowse of Problogger dot net.
And I found out that she did.
When I learn that, I felt confuse and rapid beating of my heart because I am thinking that my Guest Post entry might be in trouble and all my hard work will be gone to nothing.
No one is perfect. In my case, I wasn’t aware that someone is violating the copyright law under my name, until I learned that told me about it.
I am very sad that I am now disqualified from the contest that I really did my best to promote it. Anyway, I would like to share some few things that I learned from this trouble.
1. Don’t Let Other Do the Work for You.
I am not saying that outsourcing is bad. What I really mean by this is that; don’t give your tasks to anyone who is not well trained by you. It because she or he might do some things not following your procedure.
2. Don’t break the rules.
We are not perfect and sometimes, we make mistakes without noticing it that sometimes break the rules. I have the experience before that my Google Adsense account was terminated cause by clicking my own adsense ads.
This was done by other person who is curious about the relevant link inside my post. The thing is that, I was shocked when my ads were disappearing and when I log on into my account; a prompt said that my account was terminated.
I really don’t know what causes it, but I do know the rules which I haven’t break it at that time. When time passed by, my wife confessed on me that she was the one who clicked the ads.
3. Don’t Leave Your Personal Computer On.
If you are planning to go somewhere else, always remember to turn your personal computer off. Because if you leave it open, there would be a great chance that your personal accounts will be use unauthorized.
Also put a password in your computer, so that whoever wants to open your computer, they can’t completely get inside and use it fully.
Conclusion.
In the end, I am hoping that I still have your trust. My experience can happen to anybody. But there’s a phrase that I learned from a friend.
Smart People Do Learn from their Mistakes.
That’s all and thank you very much.
