It is said that having an email list will lead you to online success. Yet, many internet marketers claimed that the “money is on the list”.
Well… that is quite true but some marketers also says that the money is in the “relationship you’ve built in your list” that I think the truth. Now, the fact is that, building an email list is somewhat time consuming especially if you are not good or familiar with it.
On the other hand, you need to have a program or software that will also collect your readers’ email address before you are able to send them some follow-up or broadcast emails right to their inbox. 
Another thing is that, you need to invest some amount of money for you to be able to use that said software like aweber or getresponse.

The good news is that, there are various email marketing software alternatives available online which offers free trial like Mail Chimp or a free email subscription software like feedburner.
Mail Chimp allows you to use their features for free but in limited subscribers only. They work like aweber but upon using their service, the design of their subscription boxes seems limited also. I tried to customized the optin form but it is really hard to tweak it especially if you are not a web programmer.
Having a good looking optin form will capture your reader’s eyes. So, it’s very important to me (and for you also) to have a good looking subscription or optin form.
Feedburner is another good alternative to capture your readers’ email address. Just like mail chimp, this tool also have limited features where you can’t send follow-up emails to your email subscribers but sending content in an email form of newly published content from your blog.
The good thing is that, this piece of software is absolutely free where many bloggers (including me) used to recommend this great tool to all newbie bloggers especially for those who are using free blogging platform like blogger or other platforms.
In the end, you have no choice but to use a premium email marketing software such as aweber or getresponse just to experience those great features (autoresponder, newsletter, subscription and broadcast) that these software have.
But for all self-hosted wordpress users, I recommend to use this newly discovered WP plugin of mine which I will talk about it below.

I definitely would like to have a closer look at it. I am using MailChimp right now and YES, I do not like the opt-in box too much.

Yes, I am using it currently. Try to subscribe and you can’t find any aweber or other autoresponder software link below on each email I’ve sent to you…

Hey thanks for the tip! I wish I would’ve found this post earlier. I just signed up to some free autoresponder that couldn’t do anything at all, it would just show me an error screen. Definitely gonna try this plugin instead. *bookmarked*

Yeah I love WP Autoresponder but the problem is the blue attribution link that it prints below the fields to caputure the email and address. Do you have any suggestions on free alternatives?

What you mean is the link back to their website? You can manually get that. Have you seen my OPTIN FORM in the upper right corner? I am using this WPresponder right now.

I am glad that you benefited from my post. I also used aweber before, but it really cost me a lot of money. And I found this great tool. When I found it, my other problem is that the design of the optin form. That’s why I really made a research and come up with a great solution. For you Ashiq, just give me an email message and I will send you the code of the optin form. Just edit it.
Anyway, I will make a good tutorial post about this issue. Thanks for your suggestion.
